Fantasy football budget, where to spend more?

This article will give a few good tips and how to spend your fantasy football budget.

Before your know the best strategies to spend your budget, you need to know few important thing:


1. From where the points were coming by positions?
In the last 8 seasons the percentages of points scored per positions are:

As we can see here in total 72% fantasy points was scored by Midfielders and Strikers.


2. From where the points were coming by player's value?
What are the player's value that scored a lot of fantasy points in the last 8 seasons?

As we can see here, there are still in combination of 59% fantasy points was scored by Midfielders and Strikers.
Now we know from where the most biggest points were coming. Let's go to the next question.


3. The best budget percentage for every position?
So the best budget for each positions are:

GK	DF	MD	ST
10%	20%	35%	35%
10M	20M	35M	35M	For team value 100M.
10M	20M	60M	60M	For team value 160M - Manager value 10M.

Note: Highlighted in blue are special for Stadium Astro Fantasy BPL-Silent Manager.
Now we got the percentages. Do you know why the percentages for GK only 10%, the points scored by GK and DF almost the same, why not both 20%. We cannot do that because the number of goalkeepers in our team is only 2 but the number of defenders are 4 pax. 10M is enough to get 2 average goalkeeper at 5M in value.


For Stadium Astro Fantasy it's a big difference. We received 160M total budget, then we must minus the value of Manager around 10M. We must used the same budget for GK and DF. Using this way we can easily bring in the EURO SCOUT players. For example Ronaldo and Messi, both valued at 16M. If we don't use this strategies, it is hard to bring in the Euro Scout players because all of them very expensive.


4. Player's value classification.
Before we go to the next tips, we need to understand the value classifications. Is it Cheap, Average, or Expensive.

5. The best formations for this budget?
Now we understand what the percentages and that's show us that we need less defenders because they are scoring less fantasy points in comparison with MF and ST. The data also showing us that the ST also scoring good fantasy points. So what is the formation that less Defenders and more Strikers?


The answer is 3-4-3. Usually most fantasy manager using formation that has less defenders, 3-5-2 or 3-4-3. This is the strategies to grab more fantasy points and put more players at the best positions.

6. How to avoid overspending for every positions, but still receiving good fantasy points?
There are few tips to avoid overspending your budget:
1- Refer back to all the above tips.
2- We must refer to price specifications.
3- Price for 2 goalkeepers must below than 10M, get your combination (Expensive-Cheap) or (Average-Average).
4- Get the cheap player that plays 90min and has good running fixtures.
5- Don't put to much money for your bench players.
6- Make sure your team are balance. The example as per below:
